Policies for Hor d' oeuvres


  • Minimums:
    Our party prices are based on a minimum of 50 guests.  We can cater for smaller groups at an adjusted price.
  • Guarantees:
    A guaranteed count is required 10 days prior to your event date.  You may increase your count 24 hours prior to your event.  Production of an hor d' oeuvre party according to the National Caterers roundtable require 11-13 pieces per guest.  Cocktail buffets require 17-19 pieces per guest. If your guaranteed number is inaccurate, so will be the production.  Queen Anne's will charge for the guaranteed number of guests or the number of guests attending, whichever is larger.
  • Deposits:
    A $300 deposit is required to hold prices and to confirm the date with us.  This will be applied to your final bill. Payment is due the day of service and can be made in the form of cash, check, Visa, or MasterCard.  Only customers with approved credit will be extended terms.
  • Leftover Food:
    Following policies established by the Health Department, we will not release leftover food to you or your guests.
  • Service:
    Queen Anne's Catering truly shines setting up a nice table for your guests to enjoy.   Our pricing includes linen and skirting for the hor d'oeuvre table and high quality disposable cocktail plates and napkins. The service will be for one and one half hour time period.  Overtime rates for additional time will be charged at a rate of $15.00 per hour per employee.
  • Wedding Receptions:
    If you wish to use this hor d'oeuvre menu for a wedding reception we can accommodate you by applying up charges.  We understand the importance that comes with the reception and we will provide for you what it takes to make it a memorable event.  We will if you wish, add the important items such as an early set up so as not to intrude on your social time.  We will linen and skirt for the cake table, gift table, and provide punch, mints and nuts for 1 1/2 hours before food service.  The upgrading fee for a wedding reception is $2.00 per guest.  Wedding receptions are prepaid 10 days prior to the event.
  • Style Enhancements:
    If you wish to have a china hors d'oeuvre plate, the cost is $0.75 per guest.  Linen table covers for the guest table are $6.40 each.
  • Gratuity and Sales tax:
    A 18% gratuity will be added to all events with service.  All sales are subject to state and county sales tax unless you provide us with a tax exempt number.
